The Creative CLC (pronounced Clique) is a community designed for creatives who want to grow through practical design challenges that simulate real client work. Every two weeks, we launch a new challenge crafted to mirror real client projects, complete with detailed backgrounds, deliverables, and personality-rich briefs.
Midway through each challenge, we introduce a surprise Wormhole, a curveball that adds a new requirement or twist. This simulates the unpredictability of real client work, where unexpected changes are part of the process.
Through these challenges, designers sharpen their problem-solving skills, refine their workflow, and level up in a supportive, collaborative space.
Each brief is designed to feel like a fully developed client project.
Every challenge includes the business name, business type, and a short brand description to set the stage. You’ll also receive a clear list of required deliverables, plus optional extra deliverable ideas if you want to push your creativity further.
To help you design with intention, each brief includes a detailed breakdown of the target audience and a set of curated keywords that capture the brand’s intended mood, style, and vibe.
As you participate in the community, you’ll earn points from submitting designs, winning challenges, and earning features and prizes. Your points help you move up The Star Trail, unlocking five reward tiers that celebrate your progress and creativity.
